Sculpture

I enjoy working with harder material such as marble, granite, exotic fossilized coral and jade. Stone has a sense of permanence and allows the viewer the opportunity of enjoying it through touch. I approach sculpting like a conversation, where it is important to listen to what is actually being said. By observing the character or nature of the stone, I try to help it explore a new potential. The combination of stone with steel and glass compliments it while adding a new dynamic. My hope is to create something both beautiful and interactive.
